The Regulations for Licensee link will take you to the KRGC regulations governing casino employee licensing.
Prior to submitting your license application and disclosure please be aware that:
All questions on the license application and disclosure forms must be answered completely and truthfully. Failure to do so may result in a delay in processing your paperwork, denial of the license, or other action against your license including suspension or revocation.
If a question or section does not apply to you, indicate this with “n/a” or “none” as a response.
All information on the application and disclosure forms must be typed or printed legibly in black ink, except for initials and signatures. Use blue ink when signing, dating, or initialing any page of the documents.
Be sure to have the Certification Page of the disclosure and the Authorization of Release of Information Form notarized prior to submission.
Completed license applications and disclosures should be submitted through the Human Resources Department of the licensed gaming facility you are associated with or through the Compliance Department of the company where you are employed.
Licensees are responsible for adhering to all requirements of the Kansas Expanded Lottery Act and K.A.R. 112-100-1 et.seq, other applicable Kansas laws and Commission regulations, and the internal controls of the respective lottery gaming facility where they are employed. Failing to do so may be the basis for action against your gaming license, including refusing to issue, denial, suspension, or revocation.
If you have any questions about completing your license application or disclosure forms, contact the KRGC Licensing Division at 785-296-5800.
Racing and gaming statutes establish broad guidelines that govern how racing and gaming must be conducted. However, the legislature delegated to the Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission the authority to establish rules and regulations to implement and enforce the statutes. Below are current regulations. Periodically, these regulations will be amended to accommodate changes in the industry. Anytime amendments to the regulations are proposed, the draft amendments will appear below under Pending Regulations.
In order to conduct gaming business in the State of Kansas a company must pass a background investigation and be certified by the Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission. Below you will find companies that have been approved in the four different categories.
